Reviews of Dollar Tree
"Great prices ....never organized."
"My go-to dollar tree. Extremely clean and organized with friendly workers and products not available at other dollar trees in an urban area."
"This Dollar Tree location is staffed with friendly, courteous people. There is no parking on site, but there is street parking nearby. The store is well organized and clean. Many of the items that were once $1.00, are now $1.25."
"I like this Dollar Tree location. The store is clean and items are nicely organized on the shelves. The employees make sure bags are checked and all customers entering the store have on a face mask BUT yelling across the store and speaking rudely to customers is not appropriate. Be nice to your customers so that they will return."
"I kid you not the line can literally go from the front or near the front of the store all the way to the back. As a manager in the past, in these situations some employees would be told to transition to cashier's. From the four times I have been there 3 during the pandemic we are currently in and I have never saw more than two cashiers. In those cases usually at some point another cashier joins. In the photo I took (I guess I had deleted it because I can't find that one nor the one of the line from front to back) the teens in the front were there for about 10 minutes. I commend them because they had company. I had the partner wondering what's taking so long. Remember everything even food is a dollar in the store. So yeah someone, usually three out of five people are buying over $20 in items from my observations. Yeah Ive been standing in line a lot to make these observations. I admit just like the other abandoned baskets and carts in the store I decided the stuff in the basket is not serious to buy twice versus my sanity, comfort and overall health. I just came in the morning when they had opened instead...... Guess what people.... WEARING A MASK ISN'T THE END OF THE STORY.. KEEPING 6 FEET MINIMUM IS IMPORTANT. ITS STILL IN NEW YORK AND THE REST OF THE WORLD BUNCHING TOGETHER ON THE LINE ISN'T GOING TO MAKE IT GO ANY FASTER. I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE PEOPLE IN THE SAME DICKIES MEDICAL SCRUBS I ONLY WEAR WHEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOLLOWING THE SAME PATTERN. PLEASE CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES. AFTER SPENDING MY $20. SEVERAL ITEMS WERE PAST THEIR SELL-BY DATE. I JUST NEEDED TO INDICATE THIS. TO SUM UP MY REVIEW AND MY PICTURES LONG LINES WHERE PEOPLE FORGET ABOUT SOCIAL DISTANCING. SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. NO AIR CONDITIONING. AND LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST FOOD MAY BE PAST THEIR EXPIRATION DATE. When I come to this side of brooklyn, I'll walk, or drive by it. My curiosity of the store has now been fully diminished. I'm not going to return the food . I rather just throw it out. I just don't expect the managers to be of quality if this has occurred two out of three purchases. Lesson learned. The people of East Flatbush especially since most are of West Indian descent expect, and deserve better. Edit forgot the photos and yep they do paper bags. Tell deblasio this isn't California. I can drive him around if he'd like in San Francisco. The photo was just if the expired ice cream cake taken on September The 6th. The sell-by date here is April 2020. Besides September I think I was there sometime in 2019 and left because of that line"
