"Pleasant evening. Cozy bar/restaurant located in a spot that you have to going to to find. Just had pizza this time but will return to try other things on the menu"
"the food was generally satisfying, although fish (fish and chips) seemed undercooked. We do not like a surcharge for credit cards - that is a definite turn off, after all the other money being spent. the owner's definitely see benefits as well as costs for credit cards, and they are a given - don't hit me with another charge!"
"First time in here and we found it to be great. Smiles all around from the staff the whole time, waitress was fun and easygoing. The decor and ambiance was classy, large wood burning fireplace that left no smoke smell and wasn’t too warm. Food was fresh, prepared with care, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We plan to order takeout for a family party we have coming up in a week and we’re going back in person first chance we get. We’re only upset with ourselves for waiting so long to try it."
"This was our first time here. Arrived after 7pm on a Saturday and was seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the sautéed chicken livers, lamb Shepard's pie, and coconut & peanut chicken breast (all of it was delicious!) The atmosphere was cozy with a nice fireplace in the middle. Will come here again :)"
"Stop in there after looking at some homes in the area. It is nice places, friendly staff and delicious food. If you come out hungry, it's a you issue not them. They give you plenty of food. If you rather sit back and shoot the "S" with friends or others you can sit at the bar for an adult beverage. It will not disappoint, in fact we closed and are headed that way tonight to get the key and that's where we are headed for dinner. Check them out it's worth the stop. Update 10/23 I have been back many times since moving just a few miles away and still not one issue and always great food! I am a pizza snob and have been raised on pizza by a man straight of the boat from Italy when I was child, it was so hard to find pizza like that in the upstate area until now! The sausage pizza reminds me of my childhood and my love for real pizza. We stop one night as a friend who lives near Abeel's and was told the food sucked, so I brought and his girlfriend for drinks to introduce slowly to Abeel's. There was a couple having a pizza pie at the bar next to us and other meals at the surrounding tables so he got to see and smell how good all the food looked and smelled. Now I have them ready to come and try out their food. But we had a great time just having drinks and having a good time hangout that night. The staff is always top notch and friendly. Stop by and see for yourself!"
