A Chau Asian - African l Food Market

"I want to say preface this with I wish this business to do well. I love asian cultures n products and I like to support asian ppl. I discovered this market recently within the last month or 2 n have shopped there 2, 3 times. I like what they have to offer but I feel like restocking is in order. I bought instant thai coffee n noticed it expired in 2017 and I also have purchased korean ginseng root drinks that were expired a few months to a year I forget. The first time I bought some desert that I read on the package that was said to be stored in a fridge after a certain time n was being sold outside of one. I mainly go for my pork Bao which I check the date underneath n is always fine. The place could use some slight reorganizing n dusting. Im unsure why some of the freezer doors in the center are left open. The woman at the counter is very pleasant but I think their business would benefit learning more english so they can understand n interact with their customers more who arent vietnamese or asian. I would love to give it a higher score but I really want n need them to up their game when it comes to cleanliness bcs ppl can get sick especially on products like their seafood n meats."

"I walked in that store because I was curious what is it. Pretty small space inside has narrow isles to walk because everything is full of neatly placed products. I ended up buying several things that were a good quality and very affordable. Would definitely go there again when on the area!"

"Good place to get most of your basic Asian ingredients. Sometimes they have special sale of seasonal exotic fruits."

"This neighbourhood Asian grocery is packed with treasures. They do brisk business in fresh and frozen seafood and fresh produce, all at reasonable prices. The freshest sweet potato leaf, watercress, and tropical fruits. The Vietnamese family that runs the store are very helpful and friendly. The seafood restaurant across the street is the same family, also excellent."

"I used to buy gallon jugs of soy sauce (very tasty, too) here - but did not see a single bottle, last time I stopped."
