"I got some plastic-canned dry food last weekend. Telling from the name, they are some gel pills made from peach. I got it because Red Chile has a desert made of this and I wanted to try to make it myself. When I took it off the shelf, I felt the cap was a little loose. But I did not think that was a big deal. After I got home and opened the cap, I found the aluminum seal at the opening of the can has a big hole. Fortunately, I kept the receipt. Today, I went back to the shop. I thought I would just exchange for a new one. However, there were no more of the same product. So I had to return the damaged product. The lady, who is likely the owner of the shop, gave me a very hard time: first, she said she could give me a discount; then she brought some other products and tried to make me exchange for those; then she even said it was not a big deal since it was dry product and I would have to wash it anyway. I insisted that I would not take a canned product that has been opened. She finally reimbursed me but with a very bad attitude. She almost threw the old receipt back to me. I tried not to take it personally. Later, I purchased more groceries and had to check out with her again since there were no cashiers on other lanes. I purchased a bunch of things. From the beginning to the end, she did not say a single word and did not offer a box to put the grocery in and just walked away after I paid. Horrible ownership! Only greedy to make money."
"A multitude of Asian ingredients and products under one roof. As someone who loves cooking Indian food and is diving deeper into Chinese and Japanese cuisine, this place is a great resource for food items, including produce, that are not typically available at conventional U.S. grocery stores. The store also includes a bakery at the rear of the store, a restaurant, and a hair salon."
"The staff is kind and helpful. They have many options to choose from. Their prices are good on everything they sell. Their fish is very fresh and priced well. What more can you ask? We travel 45 minutes to get there and always leave with treats for the kids that they have never experienced before. It's a nice change of pace and well worth the trip."
