"I absolutely recommend this daycare because children grow and become so independent , as I saw each baby come in and see how much there grown and learned to be independent and even walk before you know it , makes me feel super safe leaving any child here and not worrying about a thing .I’m so happy , I love it"
"This is a beautiful place to bring the little ones. The staff here are awesome and pay very close attention to the care and health of the children."
"I’m sorry that some of the parents who left reviews here were not happy with Young Garden. We had the opposite experience: in 6 months our son attended this daycare we were happy. Luz and her team were caring, kind ans attentive. All teachers treated kids like their own. The daycare was bilingual and affordable. It was an amazing deal for this neighborhood! Drop off and pick up hours were flexible, and Luz was always understanding and flexible when it came to payment options. Kids attending the daycare came from diverse families, and Young Garden was like one big family. Now our son started going to a different daycare for 2 year olds. Last week we went to say hi to Luz and her team, and sure enough this daycare didn’t survive the pandemic closure. My heart breaks. I hope the teachers will read this review: we will be forever grateful for your work. Daniel still calls water “aqua” and understands Spanish even though he is not exposed to it anymore:( THANK YOU!"
"My daughter attended this daycare for a month... me being a new mom i knew there were some things I were to expect like crying when I leave her and there were other things I would learn. At first I had no problem with the care my daughter was receiving but my instincts quickly kicked in when my daughter having scratches on her face and no one could tell me what happened. I even said I know there are kids around and if one of them did it please let me know ... I don’t understand how you don’t give some type of answer even if your not sure say that because I know you have more than my kid to look after . I was asked to bring sheets for my baby to sleep on , i went to pick her up around nap time and my baby was sleeping on sheets that they said was for everybody... but oh don’t worry they’re clean... (excuse me) I noticed that my daughter started more historically when I dropped her off and on the last day when I picked her up she looked as if she’d been crying all day ... of course they denied it but a mother knows her child... she cried before when I picked her up but this day was different... I normally ask questions like ... did she eat?...(my baby often had food crust around her mouth but I didn’t complain about that because I was happy she was fed)... how well is she getting along with the others?.... where did that scratch come from? ... etc ... like any attentive parent would and guess what?... the director Ms.Luz Rivera raised her voice at me , in front of the children and said...ITS LIKE YOU DON’T LIKE THE CARE HERE!!!! and that’s when I decided to take my daughter out of the daycare.... she questioned me as if I’m not supposed to ask questions, and my question is why do you have a problem with me asking questions... aren’t you supposed to willingly give me updates on my child’s progress... smh and I can’t claim it to be true but kids mimic what they see or do and my baby came home pinching and scratching me and I wondered where’d she get it from because besides the daycare she’s literally always with just me .... it’s new a while now that she’s been away from that daycare and the pinching and scratching has stopped"
"I do not recommend that you leave your baby here. Babies are strapped into strollers, cribs, or walkers the entire day. There is no movement, no play on the floor if the children are too young to walk. We ended up finding our 10 month old daughter strapped into her stroller during at all times. The older kids that can walk also seem miserable... I have never seen the children laugh or be happy here. The daycare staff is often understaffed. I regret leaving our daughter there for a month, and am so happy that we found another facility with teachers that love our baby, and help her flourish and grow."
