"I am so happy my LO is at Little Scholars. He smiles and runs to school every morning so I know he is having fun. The teachers give great feedback about his development and I have seen him learn more here than in his previous day care. The teachers are also very attentive and my LO hasn't come home with any scratches or bites like at his previous day care. I used to worry about him when I was at work but now, I have a peace of mind and sometimes, he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. Usually, he doesn't want to leave my side, but at Little Scholars, he waves at me and goes to play."
"My little loves his school :) It took forever to find a school for him because he wasn’t even happy with any, but when we visited little scholars he loved It. The school is clean, it’s a family vibe and the teachers are super sweet. They helped me potty train my little one and gave great advice. I truly appreciate my son’s teachers in the pandas room. My son always looks forward to attending school and That shows a lot. My son been there close to a year now and we are happy! I recommend this school."
"My daughter is a current student. She's been a student here for about 2 years. I absolutely love this school and staff. They are attentive to each child, helpful, understanding and friendly. It has a family vibe amongst the staff. They go out there way to make sure each child happy, healthy and safe. My daughter has grown intellectually since I had her enrolled. And I am greatful for Ms. Jasmine from the day I walked through the door and spoke about enrolling my daughter, I was hesitant at first because the news scared me and she convinced me that I would not have to worry. And I am grateful because I have not had to, they look out and treat my daughter has if she was there own. So to all the staff of Little Scholars on Jennings Street thank you and keep up the great work."
"My son is in Pre-K, the "cheetah class" and he absolutely loves this school. He has loved attending school since the day the doors opened. He has thrived academically. He has gone from knowing his alphabets and identifying most of their sounds, to reading small stories. That is quite an amazing achievement for a pre-k Student. OH, and my son loves the healthy organic tacos and absolutely loves yoga classes he has gotten the opportunity to attend. :) The teachers and staff are great and very attentive. I am so happy that I found this school, I highly recommend it. UPDATE : 12/23/2014 My son is not attending this school anymore, he is now attending public school, where he continues his drive for success, his eagerness to learn and I believe that little scholar has truly been apart of this reason. He has passed the Gifted & Talented exam & will be attending a gifted and talented program. I believe that with hope, love, kindness, security and some love from parent's and teacher's our children will be all they can be."
"This is the second year my child is attending this Center. We are very pleased with it. Teachers: They are very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They always make time for questions or concerns about my child. Curriculum: In general, there is both structured and unstructured time set up for the children. That said, I love that my daughter has a curriculum to follow even from the age of 2.5 when she started. A year later and she’s talking to me about chlorophyll and the role it plays in the leaves changing during the Fall! There's yoga and Zumba, among other activies! Food: Smells and looks YUMMY! Fresh delivered every day and organic. Facilities/Security: This was also very important to me because I visited other places that were not up to par! At Little Scholars, you need to be buzzed in twice before entering the premises. There is also another door, which also locks, that separates the cozy lobby area from the classrooms. The receptionist desk has a vantage point of the entrance, kitchen and entrance to the classroom area. Each classroom is private. There are glass doors that allow you to observe your children. There is one set of bathrooms that is child-sized and another that is regular-sized. The playground is in the back of the building away from the street. It is locked and it is only for the daycare so your child isn’t lost in a sea of unfamiliar children. The center is always clean and well-lit. From the very beginning, she was enthusiastic about attending. She is doing quite well academically and socially. I intend to keep her there until she she’s ready for Kindergarten."
