"Great preserve! A good place to train for mountain climbing as there is plenty of up and downhill hiking sections"
"I went here twice with my dogs (July 2022). Both days were pretty hot, but the trail is entirely shaded and stayed pretty cool. Both times we went (about 2pm - 4pm on weekdays), it was just us. It was quiet and peaceful, and not a long trail (about 30-40 minutes). The trails are well-marked, and not a challenging hike - there are some hills to climb, but nothing crazy. Overall we enjoyed it, but there was one major drawback - there were tons of mosquitos. It could just be the time of year, but it was pretty bad. Bug spray helped of course, but the mosquitos were still swarming us through most of the trail. Also, just a note: there's no parking lot at the entrance; instead, you park on the street (entrance is near a circle at the end of a road). That didn't phase us, but I felt unsure if we were at the right location at first."
"Two great trails through the woods, the red one goes down to a stream and the blue one loops down a hill and back up. The trails are well-marked, but there are a lot of downed trees across the trails. Also, keep your eyes open for roots. It's a little up and down, so make sure you're up for climbing hills."
"Strange parking situation, but this was a lovely, well marked trail. The red trail brought me to a stream eventually. It was a bit hilly, good leg exercise! It took me 40 minutes to walk the loop."
"Nice trails through woodlands. It's a bit confusing without a map, but we followed the blue trail, which is a nice loop. The red trail seems to make an additional loop. Perfect for kids, walking a dog or a leisurely stroll."
