"The teachers who made the biggest impact on me when I attended High School in the early 90's were; Mr. Steve Austin, Mr. Eric Cosman, Mr. Dennis Karley, Mr. Daniel Parke, and Mr. Grey... Canandaigua Academy was an amazing school then. Miss all the teachers listed. Great educators. -RJZII"
"I was there for a orchestra concert and was very impressed by the musicality of the students. Also, their teachers are very invested in their music making. These young people are well trained, have very good performance manners and seem to love music as do the instructors. This is not the first time I have experienced the school system's music programs. I have been impressed every time. Unlike many schools, Canandaigua invests in the arts as well as sports. Bravo! Please keep up the good work."
"This school is a JOKE! Drove an hour to see my son play football and after walking a mile to the field the ticket booth informs us that they do not accept 100's or 50's and all we had was 100. At a 7pm game where do you go to break a 100 when they can't even do so with 200 people watching the game that paid 2.00 a person? We told them we were there to see our child play and drove the hour to do so and they could not have the decency to let it slide for 2.00! Seriously? They told us to stand outside and try to watch the game. (Not at all a visible spot). This was definatly a disappointment from an academic facility!!!"
"The school allowed me to take my education where I wanted to, as I focused on my sciences. I was given a great selection of AP and IB courses to curate my interests, leading into college. What I wish they had told me prior to college was that regents and honors classes mean nearly nothing once in college. AP courses only allow a freedom of course selection in college, unless you pass 5-10 courses - in that case, you can probably graduate from college a year early."
"I had wonderful teachers. Mr Myers inspired me the most. But I haven't been there in over a decade."
