"I was happy to find and support a local business but my experience at Suffolk Animal Hospital was so upsetting and disappointing that I couldn't not acknowledge the experience. After a very weird incident trying to even see the Dr (should have been a warning sign), I brought my cat in to see Dr. Crespo for a lump on his stomach. Dr. Crespo did blood tests but referred us to a specialist. After seeing the specialist and doing a multitude of tests, all the results were sent to Dr. Crespos office. A few days passed and I hadn't heard anything so I called the office and spoke with Dr. Crespo. He asked me to re-email everything to him and he would review and call me back. Several days passed and I don't hear from him so I called. I spoke with a nurse, she said she would make sure the Dr. receives the message. A week passes and still no call back. Since I am local I decided to go in the office. I told the nurse at the front desk, who was very nice, how long I had been waiting to hear from the Dr and that I was very worried about my cats condition. She said she would make sure Dr. Crespo called me. After a few more days passed I decided to take my cat somewhere else. It's been several months and I never heard from Dr. Crespo. There is no excuse he could possibly give that would make this situation ok. I wasn’t waiting for a call back to have my cats nails cut. I told Dr. Crespo and the nurses that there were several tumors found in the test results. It is such a disappointment that Dr. Crespo could leave me and my cat waiting, as if we didn’t matter. We look to Dr.’s for their help, compassion and guidance. Even more so when we are scared and worried. Which was most definitely the case here. If it was just one message I could see maybe forgetting. But I made four attempts, one literally pleading in-person to the nurse for Dr. Crespo to call me. Obviously, I don’t know what the problem is at the office but I no longer care. If you are looking for compassionate care for your pet, try Veterinary Medical Center on the other side of Sunrise Hwy."

"Dr Crespo is the most knowledgeable, caring veterinarian. I am so glad we found him. My 9 year old Shepard had been having some gastro issues since April of 2023. After numerous trips to our old vet for exams, multiple rounds of blood work, an X-ray and an ultrasound we had no answers or treatments and our boy was getting worse and depressed That’s when my friend told me about Dr Crespo. On our first visit after reviewing all the results from the prior vet and Dr Crespo doing his own exam we had our answer. We were sent home with a prescription and new prescription diet and our boy had been so happy and not struggling anymore. I can’t thank Dr Crespo enough and will be referring everyone I know to him.
