"Working at Medex for these past 1.5yrs was great and a big part of that was thanks to Scott, the Durham manager. He let me set up a schedule that worked perfectly for me as I finished up my undergrad-- I was able to coordinate my shifts around exams, assignments, and study-abroad programs. I always felt more than comfortable speaking with Scott if I ran into any road bumps during a shift, needed to discuss my schedule, etc. with the confidence that he would do whatever he could to help his crews out. What stood out the most was the company's overall environment – both respectful and welcoming. I genuinely liked the people that I worked with, and the people I worked for. It's a place that knows how to make you feel valued and like part of a team. There are also many incentives, bonuses, and even a Christmas party (with giveaways) to increase rapport and thank the employees for their hard work. I am so incredibly grateful for the experience, I feel that I have learned so much during my time at the company, and I highly recommend working here!"

They are extremely flexible and willing to work with you if you have any schedule restrictions and you will have opportunities for overtime. "MedEx is a great company to work for. As a full-time undergraduate student, I was able to work part-time as an EMT and gained wonderful experiences. You will be given clear guidelines of what is expected of you inside and outside the ambulance, and if you do them well and with purpose you will have a smooth experience on the job. I worked with some really incredible and supportive people. Additionally, You can tell that management cares about you, and for that I am grateful.
