"Do not become an independent contractor with this company, the so called staff are cons, work for nothing. And also be very cautious of these people getting your private info. I had to flag my personal info. And why they do a back ground check on you. They need run some up on the inside. Do not work here. They’re stealing the pay. If they steal from the drivers, the customers aren’t safe as well. Never seen such a unprofessional staff. All I can say. What comes around. Goes back around."

"From an Independent Contractor take my advice: Run! I’ll summarize as much as I can. They are very short staffed, but it’s due to how unprofessional this organization is, not due to lack of work. They way it works is that you call in to advise dispatch daily that you’re available & they’ll in return call to offer you routes as they come in, with you having the option to decline. OR as in my situation, you’re offered a dedicated/daily route for a particular agreed upon rate that you run until the contract is up. The Issue: If CourierNet’s Fleet Manager’s, are unable to get a courier to run a route for the low amount originally offered, they are able to offer the courier a higher rate. But my logistics company (and other couriers) learned the hard way that they only offer the higher rate on the spot to get the route completed, to satisfy their customer (not the courier) and when payday comes, we were paid the original rate that we turned down. Then comes the run around, advising you FOR WEEKS that the adjustment will be applied to your next weeks check which never happens, (only so you’ll continue to run/satisfy the route for their customer) and now here we are waiting for almost $4k in adjustments! They even went as far as to give us weekly settlements (their internal pay pay statements) that reflected the correct negotiated amount, although they only deposited the originally decline rate. I guess they didn’t think we could count. For Independent Contractors this is a nightmare! We depend on ourselves for pay, gas, health insurance & the support of our families, so for a company to so blatantly pull a bait and switch like this is unacceptable and will be solved in court. If you overlook my post & decided to give them a try, don’t say you weren’t warned!"
