"Was told they unload between 6am-10am. Arrived @615am no one here, place doesn't open till 8am.... Only to find out was told by the guy in office that they do not unload during day... Only unloading at 7pm-4am... And its not his problem. Have only 10pal. And just kept telling me its not his problem. Not the best service ....."
"I have been working for for the same restaurant business for over 10 years. I’ve worked in different states and had many different suppliers but none have been as awful as Honeycutt Produce. I have had more issues in 1 year with Honeycutt than I have had with all of my other suppliers over the last 10 years combined. I honest to goodness can’t wrap my head around how this company can run so poorly and still be in business. Multiple times a week we’re shorted on our orders, or the product will be expired, or it will be moldy, or a number of other things. I have to write emails and make calls multiple times a week begging and pleading for the most basic of services. I shouldn’t have to beg to receive product that isn’t expired. I shouldn’t have to beg to actually receive the items that I’ve ordered. Communication between my business and Honeycutt produce is downright awful. I’ve made consistent requests that i be notified of certain things so that i can appropriately plan and run my business. But over and over again the staff can’t be bothered to communicate simple things to me. I’ve only had a few drivers. Some of them have been polite and effective and some of them have been downright rude and belligerent. The way my business is being treated is downright unacceptable. If you’re looking for a produce supplier I would strongly recommend going anywhere else."
