"If I could write a review and give zero stars I would, they are the worst, we have had them throw packages, drive thru our yard, found mail in the ditch, and today claim there wasn’t a secure place to put the package and we have plenty of places for it. I called and the response I got from a women at Clinton USPS was they were scared to deliver because we complain too much and they couldn’t drive in the yard. We have a whole concrete paved driveway they can drive in get out sit the package on any of the two porches we have side or front and then get in the car and back right out the same paved driveway. I am tired of the excuses and blame!! They need some better employees and better mannerisms at the post office in Clinton!"
"I have had ongoing issues with this location. Several pieces of mail that have confirmed delivery to my P.O. Box have not made it into my P.O. Box. I have updated to informed delivery to keep an eye on this issue. I have to route parcel packages to the post office for packages that cannot be sent to a P.O. Box and because the post office refuses to deliver packages to our home. After filing a complaint with USPS to address the issue, the post office agreed to start coming out to our home to deliver parcel mail. We have them on our outside cameras speeding down our road. Fast forward three weeks, we began not receiving any mail and we had to file another complaint. The post office has no idea what is going on and refuses to deliver mail to our physical address, stating the road is a safety issue and they are waiting for public safety to come out and check the safety of the road. They have been saying this for over a month now. This is a change from a few weeks ago when they agreed to deliver packages to our home. We have had to put a hold on all mail to our physical address and sign up for informed delivery because we haven’t received mail in over three weeks. After placing mail on hold at our physical address, first class mail starts showing up at our physical address again. We called the post office to check to make sure they received our hold and let them know we are suddenly receiving first class mail at our home even after we placed a hold on our mail. The lady on the phone got snippy and explained that it could take a little bit before they receive the hold. I asked her if she could check on the hold and come to find out the post office has received the hold. We had to place a hold on our mail and sign up for informed delivery because we needed to figure out where our mail was and we were trying to determine if whether it’s an issue with delivery or someone is stealing mail. It seems as though someone is stealing mail at our physical address and someone at the post office is stealing mail even after informed delivery and fedex and ups confirms delivery for mail we have delivered to the post office. It’s frustrating when you have no option but to have all mail sent to the post office and your local office doesn’t even want to retrieve packages from the back when you come in to pick them up. I’m damned if I don’t have mail sent to the post office and I’m damned if I do. Something needs to be done about this. I am not the only individual in my neighborhood that receives mail. And the lack of service and customer service is unacceptable to the citizens of Clinton and Sampson County. Please do better. And please explain where our mail is going when it’s sent to the post office and it’s been confirmed delivered yet you have no clue about its whereabouts. Make it make sense please."
"After a few hiccups when first moving to town, I have to say the ladies in this post office are more friendly and helpful than any other post office I’ve been to, which has been quite a few being military and moving often. The USPS in general has issues with packages and mail sometimes but it’s helpful when your local post office works to address these issues. This has been my personal experience with the Clinton post office. The ladies at this location have been very helpful!"
"I have place two items at this post office and both items was not delivered. The first package was place in the outdoor mailed box located at the post office. It never was delivered to new york. The second package was insured for a two day delivery to new york and I paid 163 dollars for a two days express. Now I cannot get my money back. Someone said I have to wait 30 days until I will be able to get my refund. This is not acceptable the post office is supposed to stand behind their word."
