"I'm an event planner for a Meetup Group & thought it would be fun to do an "Explore Peekskill" tour. We started with a visit to the Peekskill Museum, followed by a walk at Riverfront Park then dinner at Taormina Trattoria located next to the park. My group of 15 was so impressed with the collection of interesting artifacts housed in this museum. Rooms with period furniture, architecture of the home, old stove collection & many items to view on the history of this beautiful area. It truly is a hidden gem.
