Toast with Post

"We used Connie for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. Although the food was good, we are incredibly disappointed to hear that several guests were upset with the way they were treated. We had several guests state that she was unkind, exasperated, and complaining. We paid extra money ($185) to have cake cutting services provided by Connie, and multiple guests shared that she was unhappy about having to cut the cake and was stating (to my guests) that she wasn’t aware she was supposed to be the one cutting. Connie was more than aware that these services were expected as we not only paid extra, but also had a discussion the week of the wedding that I needed her to bring a cake cutting knife as I did not have a special one I wanted to use. Additionally, she was asked months prior that my nephew (6 yrs) would need a special meal (was never made and stated she was never told) and that my Nana would need a special meal due to medical diet restrictions (she was told months prior and reminded about closer to the wedding date) and my Nana’s meal was not ready and brought to her after most guests were finished eating and moving along to the next activity. I am highly disappointed as the food was good, but the service was incredibly poor. It is super upsetting to hear as a bride and groom that your guests do not feel that they are being treated well by one of your vendors, or that your guests are upset for you that your vendor is exasperated to provide the services we paid a significant amount of money for on top of being tipped additionally on the wedding day after an 18% service fee was already charged."

"We reached out to Connie after we had to fire our original caterer a month before the wedding. She had been recommended to us by our venue, so we called desperately hoping she was available. Luckily, she was, and we quickly discussed pricing, she customized the menu for us, and within a couple days we were under contract. First, her pricing is extremely reasonable, especially for how willing she was to customize the whole menu for us. We were just excited to have a caterer, and hoped that it went well. We were not ready for the amazing promptness, professionalism, gorgeous display & AMAZING food that Connie brought! To say that the food was good just doesn't do it justice. We were told by several guests that our wedding had the best food of any wedding they've been to. After our wedding, several friends of ours hosted parties and they all had charcuterie boards. Every single one of them told us they did it because they were so inspired by Connie's charcuterie cocktail hour! Connie was a godsend for us in such a stressful time. I could not say enough how much easier she made everything for us. If you're considering choosing Toast with Post, do it! You won't regret it!"
