"This place is amazing. The beach view is one of the best in the Hudson Valley. There is also a trail along a rock rim that plummets between 3 and 30 feet to the Hudson. It feels like you are out west somewhere. There is also a great playground right next to the walking/running/hiking trails. Another section that is dramatic is the southern end of the trail that goes by the campground (this is all on the White Trail). It loops down to Nori Point with dramatic effect."
"I go to several car shows a year and this is easily one of my top two favorite shows. The setting is beautiful with the mansion and the backdrop of the Hudson. More importantly this probably has the nicest mix of high end and such a variety of beautiful automobiles from all era's."
"I stayed at the Campground for 2 nights and signs were clear and well made. Check-in at the office was quick and easy in part because I had my printed pre-registration. The campsites are kept clean and the restrooms are excellent! Clean and fully stocked with toilet paper, the showers have hot running water. Of course your experience will vary on many factors like how loud your camping neighbors are and weather conditions. For us it was all perfect. Quiet times were complied by everyone both nights. Restrooms are available 24/7. There are a few trails you can take along the rivers. Not many things to do around here which is good because you stay focus on the important things: spending time in nature with your loved ones!"
"Very lovely park with great trails and playground. The trails are not paved. There is a marina and a camping site. The white trail along the water us beautiful but the road is not flat, be careful if you're with kids, a lot of places to fall off"
"I liked the location of this park, the opportunity to do a kayak tour of the Hudson and the trails around. The only thing I didnβt like is that there is no one working at the campground after 9 and therefore quiet hours do not apply. I donβt mind people enjoying themselves, listening to music and having fun, but there was quite a few major parties going on with very drunk people, very loud music and people yelling loudly until after midnight. One campsite next to us had over 9 cars packed into one spot when I thought the minimum was 2 per site. If you want a peaceful camp experience where you can enjoy the beauty of camping, I donβt recommend staying here because it is a party palace."
