"Very unhappy and angry with the way this woman spoke to my 20 year old daughter. She was covering for Dr. V.M. Augustine, my children’s wonderful doctor for over 20 years, did not know my daughter from Adam, and spoke to her relentlessly about personal matters that she had NO business discussing. She knew NOTHING about my daughter, yet had the audacity to make assumptions about her. Normally, I would have been in the exam room with my daughter, but due to the pandemic, I was told I had to wait in the car. I can guarantee you that she would not have treated my daughter so poorly and callously if I were there. My daughter came running to our car in tears. This woman’s words were hurtful and damaging. You would think since she’s a woman, she would have been sensitive and understanding. Now as a mother, I am left to pick up pieces of what’s left of her self-esteem."
