"We moved to Lindenhurst in late 2018, right around the corner from Dr. Soranno. He became our children's pediatrician in 2019 and has always been good at what he does. Just last week (Thursday 10/5), my daughter c/o of a sore throat, and I thought she might have had strep, so I sent her to see Dr. Soranno. Dr. Soranno suspected her sore throat might be caused by hypothyroidism (a condition which very close relatives also have) and saw other symptoms that hint at hypothyroidism; he sent her for thyroid blood work STAT and the labs came back critical. Dr. Soranno and his office made sure our appointment with a superb pediatric endocrinologist (Dr. Chammar) was ASAP and now my daughter is receiving the treatment she needs to regulate her thyroid levels. This all happened in a matter of 5 days. Thank you Dr. Soranno."

"Good doctor ! But very poor and unprofessional staff. Who ever answer the phone was very unprofessional. To the point where I’m taking my child somewhere else after this. Old school doctor, but to have to deal with his staff isn’t worth it. And now all of a sudden my child if he has an emergency he can’t see him until 2 days. Terrible practice. Especially when I ask for a copy of my child charts , so I can take him to the new doctor. There was a problem."

"I love Dr.Soranno. We've been coming here for 15years now. When we first moved to Long Island from Queens he was suggested to us. My daughter Hailey was two when we first moved here. Her and my son both have asthma so when I say we see him a lot WE SEE HIM A LOT. He fixes them right up. He's an old fashioned but hip no nonsense doctor. He's with the times but with that old fashioned feel when you step into his office you have that "at home" feeling. He likes to be involved with asking the kids about school etc. They aren't just "another patient" to him. He asks them about themselves and is invested in them. My son was excited that he remembered telling him he was going beach camping and that Dr.Soranno had asked him on our next visit how his camping trip was. Little things like this add up and he constantly does it. It means a lot to me as a parent. Your kid feels the difference and that means a lot. A doctors visit can be a scary experience for a kid especially if they don't like the doctor it can be a downright chore. HIs staff as well have it all sewed up over there. There are no "bumbling" people working there. The nurses are efficient & not idiots. We especially love Tanya. They know their stuff whether it's billing, appointments, papers you may need faxed to a school or any other paperwork. They are on the money for it all! I am giving them 5 stars cause they well deserve it. Hailey, Cruz & William all feel like family here!"
