"Been taking my children here for 8 years and have finally had it with them. The doctor herself is good and caring but her front desk staff is very disrespectful and lazy. Every time we come there, we always have some sort of problem that can’t get resolved. If they were nice they would be treated with respect but the way you treat others is the way you will be treated back. Finally took my kids medical records and transferred them to another office today."

"I wanted to say that Dr. Itzkevitch is a good doctor. However, her staff is so rude and disrespectful - I have no words to express it. Especially secretary named Yael. She hanged up on me last time I talked to her, lied over the phone about doctor's availability and tests. She was talking openly rude to me during the past visit and today over the phone when I was making an appointment she was extremely sharp, no "hi" no "bye" - hanged up again. When I asked what is the rude girl's name the staff refused to provide the name, until I really insisted. Today, during the sick visit for my child to the doctor's office she gave me such an attitude, like she owns the place and I came to beg her for something, or if I was stealing from her. She was watching me and my mother non-stop today while we were sitting in the waiting room, instead of minding her own business, and when I came to pay a copay she started to rase her voice on me about an unpaid balance for the previous visit (I have never received a bill for it and always pay immediately any fees I owe), throwing words at me and made sure to show how HUGE favor she made by printing the information about that balance. This open disrespect, rudeness and active and passive aggression makes it very hard to come to that place. I don't think I need to change the doctor just because of this person, however, open and passive aggression coming from Yael, who sits at the front and unavoidable, makes visits extremely uncomfortable."

"I called to let the Dr. know my 11th month old son tested positive for Covid yesterday. A female front desk answered the phone. She didn’t even asked how my son is doing, what medication he took, I got no questions in regards to my son’s condition. Didn’t even tell me if the Dr. will call me to check on my son. The staffs in this office needs training. The lack of compassion for the babies and kids are really showing. This isn’t the first time I didn’t like the service of the staffs."

"I cannot believe after so many years of dealing with the staff’s attitude and unhygienic office Im FINALLY writing this review. I have seen Dr. Itzkevitch since I was 15 and now I am a mother of three and my oldest is 14. I love Dr. itzkevitch but its so true that the staff gives the Dr. a bad reputation. After all these years I finally decided to change my kids doctor. My kids did a annual check up yesterday for all three of them and when I got there the staff informed me that the Dr. only sees 2 kids per family. I told her well when I called one month ago, the receptionist told me that today is the only day the Dr will see all three of my kids, how am I supposed to know the rules and procedures to your office if I dont work here? Isnt that your job to inform me when I make these appointments? And the staff member told me well maybe because all three of your kids have different last names that’s probably why the person whoever set your appointment up didnt know. I told her what does that have to do with anything? I told her every time I come here, mind you ive been making appointments with Dr. Itzkevitch for 14 years, that there is always some type of issue with your office ! If it's not the insurance info they never double check prior to me arriving to my appointment, or them never making the appointment when I call and when I show up its not in their system! Which is crazy because Im the most organized person ever ! Its the uncleanliness of their office ! My kids went to go get blood work done and there was needles on the floor that I had to tell the staff member about to the dirtiness of not cleaning up their mess when they finish taking out blood ! Also they called me today to tell me that their lab either lost or spilled my daughters bloodwork ! And when I asked how ?! They said they are doing further investigations to find out what happened. So because of that they wanted my daughter to come in to do another bloodwork, I declined because my daughter is so scared of shots and it was hard enough already for her to do it ! So why did my daughter have to suffer again because of their mistakes. Its so sad that I have spent years fighting with this office only because I love Dr. Itzkevitch and until she gets a better staff team I will never go back or recommend her office ! Not to mention that I am a teen mom I had my son years ago when I was a teenager and now that my son is a teen, the Dr. had the nerve to tell my son “ not to make the same mistakes as your mom” and I had to correct her and tell my son in front of her “ you’re not a mistake baby youre the best thing that ever happened to me”"
