"Beautiful historic home in Olean! Hosted a quilt show for local guild and was so wonderful! Amazing woodwork and furnishings !"
"Our own little Downton Abbey! It was taking a walk back in time. The woodwork is beautiful and it is just so cool imagining what it was like back when. I recommend visiting for something different to do."
"Wonderful structure with ornate interior design. Dave Deckman is the historian and was very educated about this house. Also, discovered that he was a close neighbor of mine back in the early 1950's. Great visit and a must see historical site."
"The Bartlett House is an 1880 Victorian house built by a local oil baron (Olean is not far from Pennsylvania. home of Pennzoil, Quaker State, Brad-Penn, etc.), and is perfectly gorgeous inside, with wonderful floors, woodwork, windows, and an interesting history provided by a local historian. If you are in Olean and looking for a way to pass an hour or two, this is perfect."
