"Dr. Schulman has absolutely abhorrent bedside manner! I am furious with the rough treatment my child received at the hands of Dr. Schulman, which has left him traumatized. As he walked into the room, the doctor seemed to be rushed and in a foul mood. The waiting room was empty. Nevertheless, he was curt and unfriendly. He did not acknowledge my son, or take time to let him speak. My son wanted to describe his symptoms and have his fears assuaged, but the doctor completely ignored him, causing my son to panic. He forcefully proceeded to do a Covid nose swab which caused my son's nose to start bleeding! My son was visibly distraught, and tried to tell the doctor that he needed a moment to calm down, but the doctor did not acknowledge him, causing him to become even more hysterical. The doctor told me to restrain him or else we would be asked to leave. When he was done, he abruptly left the room before I had a chance to ask any questions. I had to chase him down the hall to get the answers I needed. Keep in mind, the entire visit lasted less than 7 minutes! My son was really upset, and begged me over and over to never take him to this doctor again. He even woke up crying in the middle of the night because of it. He's traumatized. I don't understand why this man is in the Pediatric business if he doesn’t have patience for scared children, or know how to make children feel comfortable and safe!! I urge you to avoid using this Pediatrician. Does he get the job done? Sure, but so does every other Pediatrician...minus the psychological scarring."
