"I've been a member of CAL since January 2020 and have had positive experiences from being able to display/sell my art as well as provide occasional art lessons as instructor. It's a pleasant, non-competitive environment that's inclusive and nonjudgmental. There are plenty of opportunities for every genre and level of artist. As a nonprofit, of course it suffers from financial and administrative woes like any other similar organization. But, in spite of adversity and setbacks - it's still here because members and the public care about it. And, it's worthy of support and continued patronage."

"Wow, blown away by the talent here! The space is great and the vibe is very welcoming and inclusive. Honestly, the staff here is so friendly. I recommend anyone (artists, non-artists, art appreciaters, families, singles, kids, etc.) to come visit the Charlotte Art League. The events are especially fun with snacks, a bar, live music, raffles, and art for sale (reasonably priced too). Not much in the way of food or restaurants in the immediate vicinity/walking distance, however the heart of NoDa, with a slew of bars and restaurants, is just one lightrail stop prior. It looks like warehouse will eventually have other tenants including a restaurant."
