"Dr. Louisa is a very caring, compassionate and highly qualified Pediatrician. She has a great memory, a very friendly, kind and gentle touch with the children. I interviewed her when I was 8 months pregnant and have not regretted my decision choosing her to be my daughter's doctor. When my daughter was born the office staff made sure that all newborns come through a separate entrance so that they are not exposed to any possible sick children in the waiting area. They allowed me to enter that way long after she was born and until I was comfortable not entering the main waiting area during our visits. They were all aware I suffered from Post Par-tum Depression/ Anxiety and did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable during our visits. What I appreciate about Dr Louisa Castiglia is I never feel rushed. She always takes the time to listen to my concerns, is very thorough in her care and gives very specific details of care. The wait times are usually very punctual with an occasional delay but I have never waited over 15/ 20 minutes for an appointment . When my daughter is sick and needs an emergency appointment they always manage to squeeze us in with a same day appointment with one of the team doctors even if Dr. Louisa is booked. Whenever Dr. Louisa isn't available, the other doctors on the team (Dr. Gabrieli, Polsinelli, Cerniglia are just as qualified, attentive and caring, each with their own style. They all keep such detailed, excellent digital notes that when we see another doctor, I am confident that everyone is on the same page and informed. CPC is a wonderful medical team. The medical assistants are very friendly and seem to genuinely care about the children they care for. I hope that the quality and continuity of care remains the same now that Northwell has taken over the practice. So far they have remodeled and the new office is much bigger and even better than the previous office, so far so great!!!"

"This pediatric group came highly recommended by my wife's OB-GYN. We scheduled a 12:00pm appointment to interview one of the doctors, ahead of my wife's due date. It should be noted that we did not request that time, but it was given to us as the only time of availability. We arrived 10 minutes early, to ensure we would not make the doctor late for any other patients she was scheduled to see. As we arrived to the office, we noticed a couple with a newborn sitting outside in the hallway, which we thought was odd. When we entered, the waiting room had about 3 or 4 sick children waiting to be seen. Some practices are able to separate waiting areas into a "sick" and "healthy" section, but unfortunately, not here. But that's ok, because it's not that big of an office. When we met with reception, they confirmed we were there for an interview, and told us to have a seat. We weren't asked whether we may want to wait in an office, or somewhere else, being that my wife is 35 weeks pregnant, and the flu is out of control this year. That's fine, we sat and waited. And waited. And waited. The waiting room was extremely warm, because it has one section of the room where the walls and ceiling are just windows, letting in sunlight. Combine that with the heat being on as well, and it was very uncomfortable waiting. After waiting uncomfortably for over 30 minutes, and not being acknowledged by anyone in the office, and growing more frustrated, we decided to leave, as our opinions of the location and situation had degraded as we were waiting. It was only then, as we picked up our jackets and began to walk towards the door, that an office manager ran out to stop us. She confirmed that we were there for an interview, and then apologized, and explained that one of the other doctors (not the one we were meeting with) had to leave for an emergency, so they were running very late. We politely accepted the apology, acknowledging that these things can happen, but that I needed to get back to work, being that we waited over 30 minutes. She offered to reschedule, however, the experience leading up to that led us to make up our minds. We politely declined to reschedule, and left. Now, I am not naive enough to think that all doctor's appointments will be on time, every time. However, being that this was an appointment to add a new patient to their practice, we didn't really feel like we mattered all that much, until they realized that we were leaving. We felt that the facility was lacking amenities (i.e. sick / healthy waiting rooms) and friendly front office reception personnel that we would be interacting with a whole lot in the near future. It's such a shame, because we never got an opportunity to actually meet the doctor, who we are confident is great at what she does (based on previous recommendations) and would be actually caring for our child. Unfortunately, she and her practice partners lost a client/patient due to things that are basic proper service. I am willing to bet that this experience is an anomaly, but it had such an impact on my wife and I, that I felt I needed to share it."
