Reviews of Wesley Hill Nature Preserve
"Honestly the forest is so diverse, I love all the different kinds of trees and types of flora. So many different mushrooms! This place seems far less traveled than other parks, so it's underrated."
"My favorite place to hike in the Finger Lakes. The red loop (starting on your right when walking in and going counter clockwise) has a little bit of everything: picturesque pond, private woods, old cabin, bubbling streams, and plenty of ups and downs to feel like a work out. Highly recommend, but also wear pants and bug spray as there are areas at the end with tall grass."
"Always a good hike; clearly marked trails, currently not muddy due to the lack of rain, though that changes seasonally. Some bugs, but repellent works well. The Red Loop takes you through most of the park and is a good hike with some elevation gains and scrambles, but not too challenging."
"Nice easy hike in the bristol hills. Would highly recommend bug spray this time of year. Outside that, it's a gorgeous stroll along creeks and a good chance to dissappear into the woods for a few hours."
"Nice Fall hike but need to pay attention to posted hunting areas. The hike down to the creek was a bit steep with some water and mud from all of the rain we had."
