There are a few moving parts and third parties involved, and Crown was excellent with guiding me through the process and setting the appropriate expectations. "I've used Crown Cargo Systems several times over the years 1997, 2002, 2010, 2017 and they are consistently the best price with great customer service. I received all my quotes very quickly via email and was provided a contact number in case I had any immediate questions or concerns. Once I agreed to the quoted price I was sent further instructions on where to drop off my shipment, how it would be handled, and finally the tracking information. All my shipments have arrived on time and even though the fees and transportation from the destination port aren't covered, this is clearly stated in the instructions and quote up front. "We employed Crown Cargo Systems, Inc. to ship 8 moving boxes from GA USA to Stockholm, Swede. They lied in regards to the cost to ship items to another country. This is the estimate we got: ""Shipping and handling from our terminal in Charleston, SC to our terminal in Stockholm, Sweden is $235.00"" The invoice from them was first at $443.03 but finally ended at $343.53 after pointing out some faults in the invoice. Paid by Western Union directly to a person in that company. The shipment finally got on it's way from USA to Europe. It finally arrived in Germany but with another surprise. Then the next invoice came from the German port in Hamburg from NVO Consolidation GmbH. And even that one was spiced to €475,07 but after talking to them we got it down to €165,07. Finally the shipment was on it's way to Sweden. Now the next invoice is from P A Spedition & Trading in Gothenburg, Sweden. They want a further 2031 SEK but now I do not know if there will be more fees at the last stop in Stockholm, Sweden. They are not a total shipping solution. It is a referral company that brokers the shipping to other companies that ALL will charge you fees. They have so many hidden fees that it is ridiculous, the only thing you pay for is a little paperwork in the US but they fail to mention all the other fees. You get slapped with so many hidden fees that it is not worth your time to send anything with them. They will not inform you of all other costs you will face on the way to your destination country and they are to no help what so ever after your goods leave the US. The whole company is not reliable at all."
