"When my husband and I moved back to New York a year ago, we were nervous about finding a vet that could help us with our cat that had a very long health history. However, we were in the BEST hands with Dr. Enders and the Compassionate Care team. When my cat had started losing weight caused by a mass in his stomach, Dr. Enders spent so much time with us to explain everything and help us make the best decisions for our boy. We were able to get some amazing weeks with him where he was his happy, goofy thanks to the treatment plan. Unfortunately he took a sudden took a turn for the worse suddenly, and they squeezed us in that day. We were so afraid we would have to say goodbye to him that day, but Dr. Enders helped us treat his symptoms so we could have enough time to schedule an at home euthanasia through another service. I called every day due to a new problem that would pop up, and they would help us quickly and happily. The night before he passed, I called to ask a few more questions and Dr. Enders took the time to explain things further. My husband and I are so grateful for all of the staff for helping us through this difficult time. While heartbroken, we have full closure on his passing thanks to the entire Compassionate Care team."
"Having worked for the Humane Society for years, quality caring pet care is a priority that can be difficult to find. We recently relocated to NY & Compassionate Care was recommended by our veterinarian. Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Jennifer & now I understand why they are so highly rated. The quality of care is outstanding. It’s definitely worth the wait for an appointment!"
"We are so fortunate to have found Compassionate Care for our dog, who is now a senior with several health challenges. Our dog is nervous around non-family people, but she actually gets excited to visit the vet's office - she feels like they are her friends! They understand and respect her fears of other dogs (due to past traumatic life experiences), and they are very careful to make sure she feels safe. Dr. Endres is so gentle with her, and the staff always makes her feel special. This all goes a long way in reducing her anxiety, which has led to an overall better health outcome for her. Dr. Endres has been very thorough in figuring out what her health challenges are so that we can treat them appropriately. Due to those challenges, I honestly don't think our dog would have made it to 16 1/2 years old without the thorough love and care she has received at Compassionate Care. Instead, she has been happy and comfortable for these last several years and is enjoying life as a senior!"
"Compassionate Care is a pet owners dream. In over 40+ years of pet ownership, this is the absolute BEST. The care they have provided my critters has been wonderful. When the tough times have occurred, their caring and concern for my pet and for me has been so comforting. The facility is wonderful. Everything is state of the art. The staff is the best. Dr. Endres is beyond the top in his field. I have several vet practices 10 to 15 minutes from my home, and I drive half an hour to Compassionate Care."
"Changed to Compassionate because dog required dental surgery. The devoted and wonderful care my dog received and the good results of the dental surgery resulted in our staying with Compassionate. The office is wonderful to deal with and very attentive to my dog's needs. Medical care is great and staff is so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend Compassionate Care because this is exactly what your pet will receive.Dr Endries takes as much time as necessary to explain all issues related to treatment and care."
