"Prices are pretty comparable to other garden centers. The staff I dealt with were not very friendly and seemed bothered by my few questions. Not sure I’d go back, but plants were very healthy. Selection was okay as well."

Prefer to spend my money at a place that answers my questions courteously & actually wants me as a customer, like Raymond's Garden Center where they are always welcoming & happy to help."

"If you’re into gardening or landscaping, the establishment will most likely be able to meet your needs. Visit the greenhouses or stroll through the shrubs and ready-for-planting trees. From dazzling begonias to beautiful Calla lilies, from Orchids to Enkianthus shrubs…well, let’s just say the place is very well stocked and beautifully arranged. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Gardening supplies like gloves and trowels are found indoors. It’s a pleasant experience to shop there."

"For 28 years, I've enjoyed going to A Growing Concern--the first cherry tree I bought for the garden when I moved to WNC was from them, it's now 25 feet tall! Whether stopping by just to stroll the greenhouses and plants, I often discover beautiful treasures to take home to my latest garden project. You'll find kind, friendly folks that go out of their way to help--Duke and Elizabeth are wonderful and knowledgeable. You'll leave with a smile, and probably a load of happy plants! A long-time small business like this is a community treasure."
