Reviews of Veterans Park
"Very big playground. We went there for the July 4th fireworks event. It was great half an hour of fireworks. They have the parking lot. Different events happen at different time and occasion."
"Always manicured well to walk around and great place for venues"
"It was very quiet, peaceful. Other parks may have more frills, but for young children they will enjoy it."
"2 separated entrances & parking areas. 1 on each border street of this spacious, open-field corner property. And each large, stone/dirt parking lot leads to the nicely maintained bathrooms & concessions building, playground & a few picnic tables. Some trees for shade. ♿ accessible around this center area, however 2 notes to be prepared for, for Wchairs & mobility: 1- Football field Visitors team side, is a long, grass field walking distance around to the other side of field, away from center building. There are a couple small mini-bleachers, so bring chairs. Full sun. Pop up canopies allowed. 2- stone or grass surfaces in parking areas leading up to the building.♿"
"Well kept athletic fields. plenty of parking."
