"Only the beginning trail is very flat and easy to walk. The rest of the loops have rocks and roots with changes in elevation. A trail map is at the end of the initial flat section Quiet and not heavily used. There is a pretty, but small stream with a small waterfall. It is dry when there is a long dry spell with no rain. If you are someone with difficulty walking, the only place to go is the initial short flat part, which is nice and ends at a grassy meadow that is nice for a picnic. It would be an out and back walk to that first meadow. I believe it would also work if you had a motorized wheelchair. There is also another meadow that is reached by the woodland trials that have roots and rocks. No campfires allowed. There are a few nice benches throughout the trail system. There are also 2 very big, old trees in there - both oaks, I believe. Definately wear sturdy walking shoes. Be sure to take insect repellent. Most of the area is shaded so sunblock isn't necessarily needed unless you sit in a sunny part of the meadows. Small parking lot."
"Such a peaceful place! Not very crowded in my experience Very easy hike with barely any elevation gain, so it is perfect for beginner hikers, pets, family outings. Through the trail, there are benches for quiet moments with nature. There are several glorious oaks, one is over 250 years old and another close to 200. A pretty little stream leads to a very picturesque waterfall whenever the water level isn't too low. You can even grab a picnic basket and have a picnic on one the fields"
"Relatively easy hike. No major elevation changes. Some trails are easier to follow than others. Lots of places to sit and take a break if needed."
"Very nice park. Good for younger kids. The trails are pretty easy to follow. Trail markings are sparse and some what conflicting. Make sure you take the trails on the east side to be near the creek and small waterfall. We heard a few owls in the back of the park, but didn't see them"
