Reviews
"It was a wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature. Lots of flowers, birds, butterflies. The trails are well maintained. One of the pathways goes a long Lake Ontario. Wide grass paths. Just down the street is Putneyville, and there is a nice deli for lunch or pick up a lunch and sit on the bench at Cornwall Preserve and enjoy a Sunday afternoon. A hidden gem in my book."
"Lovely little park with trails going up to the bluffs."
"One of our favorite go to hikes that is close to home and gets us out of the house for a bit. You can walk through meadow and woods and see orchards and the lake. Sometimes they have a story walk up on one of the trails. There are a couple different trails to follow now, one is very wet seasonally and waterproof boots are recommended. Some of lakeshore trail can be very muddy and wet in the spring. We love doing the entire loop. We start down at the marina end of the trailhead and walk all the way to the woods and back. If you do all the trails to each parking area you can walk about 2.5 miles round trip. We love this trail during all seasons."
"Beautiful views and a variety of terrain to hike and appreciate. Love the beautiful old growth forest on the west path and the orchards near the trails look beautiful in every season"
"Visited as part of a plein air art event sponsored by Genesee Land Trust. All these years in Rochester, I can't believe I never knew this little gem was available for day hikes. Just walking up the orchards to the lake was heaven with the smell of the ripening apples."
