"ABF Freight is a great independent transport company. Customer service was perfect they always answered the phone when I called. Gave precise information on how to recieve package and was very respectful and friendly. When I got to the location a gentleman came out to greet me and ask if I needed assistance. Transfer of package to me was smooth and easy."

"They really blow.....Shipment shows being in Atlanta for at least 3 working days. Tracking on-line keeps changing pickup date. Called and was told it just got to Atlanta. Called another terminal and was told it was in Atlanta waiting to unload. We called Friday (today is Monday), was told it would be at local terminal over weekend. Still not here. 2nd terrible experience. We specifically asked shipper to not use ABF, but I guess they were "cheaper", but it doesn't matter if it's free shipping if you can't get it."

"Worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. They get a zero! I was supposed to have a delivery today at noon and no phone call or delivery. I called their office and waited on the phone for 20 minutes while they tried to find out where my delivery exactly was located. It still hadn’t left their office at 4:00 pm?!? The guy did apologize and said they would have my delivery at my home by no later than 8:00 pm. It is now 8:38 and still not here!!!!! The guy called me to tell me he would be at my home by 9:30. I doubt that from Hope Mills!!! I canceled and will try again tomorrow. Terrible company! I will never use them again!"

"Literally the worst freight company in existence. I call early in the morning to ask about my shipment timeframe to see if it would be more convenient to go pick it up and I get a guaranteed late afternoon drop off. Awesome so I wait for the late afternoon (in my mind 2 to 3pm) delivery. Come evening timeframe (around 4pm) no delivery so I ask for an update and they say 30 minutes. After waiting another HOUR and a HALF and still no delivery I ask for a new update. This update says 10-20 minutes, awesome right? No another 30 minutes later I call for another update and the driver is on lunch break. Now I'm not knocking the driver for taking his mandatory lunch, I'm blaming management who can't seem to ask the right questions or getting accurate information and timeframes!!!! This is highly pathetic and unprofessional!!!!! I get traffic and I get some deliveries take longer than others but if it is going to take all day say it will take all day so I can plan my day accordingly, don't sell misinformation and think that is okay!!!! They easily earned this one star review and I HARDLY give those out unless you really truly earned it."
