"This is my second time with this company and let’s just say after leaving I counted down the days until I was able to return. I’ve been back with the company for approximately 3 months now and everything is great. I am a home daily company driver and the pay is great. The loads are always light and almost every stop is drop and hook so I’m constantly rolling. Like I mentioned the pay is great but J am always presented with opportunities to make even more money. The staff is friendly and I have been treated nothing short of fair since Day 1. When I returned to the company I discovered that Suit had switched out their old trucks for brand new equipment. The only problem I have had out of my truck this far is a headlight going out. I have, still currently, and will in the future years highly recommend giving this company a shot."
"I have nothing bad to say about the people who work here. Everyone was friendly and helpful if you needed it. I did a lease purchase and it wasn't worth it because the freight rates are so low right now. They say 1st week no truck payme t but you only get to run 2 days in that 1st week because orientation ends on Wednesday. It should be the 1st 2 weeks no truck payment. I did alot of deadheading to get customer based loads as oppose to them brokering a load in the area I was in. By the time I deadheaded to customer freight it was the same as taking a brokered load in the area I was in."
"Been here three months now. Orientation is very fast. The office personnel have been nothing but nice. Running around 2500-3000 miles a week and home every weekend. If you want to work and see your family more. I'd highly recommend giving Suit a go."
"Not sure about the good reviews for Lease purchase drivers, but here's my experience. I was hired very fast, in orientation I was told horror stories about how drivers ran an entire shift on personal conveyance, how previous drivers were lazy and didn't want to work and complained about low pay. This was my chance to RUN!!! But no.... I stayed. The truck I got was cleaned spotless and ran great. This is the only positive thing about this ENTIRE COMPANY. My dispatcher was utterly clueless, setting up impossible delivery times when I had no time to make them, then...... Making appointment times for 5-6 and even 8 o'clock at night on Monday when I was leaving Sunday only 400-500 miles away. The owner stuffs all the money in his pockets including taking 27% of your fuel surcharges, this in my opinion is completely unacceptable in any trucking business. They give you a 65 cent discount at Loves but figuring it out... The 65 cents just goes back into the owners pockets. The entire website is telling you how family oriented they are and how they take care of their drivers..... I was left four times in two months several hundred miles from my house on Friday and when I complained to the incompetent dispatcher she replied... "I'll get back to you" provably on Monday because I never heard from her til then. My sweet wife was stuck driving several hours to pick me up and bring me home so we didn't have to put out our own money for the fuel to get me home and back. But here is the WORST part. The dispatcher would tell me rates and then when my payroll statement comes out the rate doesn't match up. So I make a few calls and the payroll lady explains how drivers just don't understand how the payroll program works...... Oh I started to understand.... They take all the money and then tell us we don't understand. My last week, I left on a Sunday afternoon to Knoxville and was told the rate was $1078. When my payroll statement came out... It showed the rate was only $560. And my fuel was $555.75 So for leaving my house on Sunday and getting the load to Knoxville Monday morning I made $4.25 And then to top off the week she tried stranding me two and a half hours away from my house.... Again. Thanks but no thanks..... Trust me, Do NOT become a lease purchase driver for this company. They Lie from beginning to end. It never stopped."
"No company is perfect but I have to say Suit is one of the few that actually care for their drivers. I was a lease purchase driver and I made good money. Unfortunately due to personal reasons I had to step away from trucking but I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to call home. Communication can always be improved but if you really have an issue you can always reach out to people like Bobbie and her team. They always goes above & beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. I had over 10k in my maintenance account and got back every cent. If you return your equipment the way you received it then you will not have any issues. Like I said before no company is perfect but there are a lot of good people at Suit that want you to be successful."
