"Let me start with the service and atmosphere. Lynn and Levi make this place the feel like the Lords BBQ. Levi had great patience and explained everything on the menu. Which is why I chose two sampler platters. Lynn had the super sweet and polite service personality. She helped us get what we needed, talked to us at our table for second, asked us about our experience and hooked us on the deserts. I cook BBQ A LOT and the quality of the food is great. I tried the two samplers and tried every meat. My favorite meats were: 1. Yard Bird, packed with flavor and dripping juices, and pulls like butter 2. Brisket had a very simple flavor profile with great smoke and amazing moisture. 3. Pulled Chicken was delicious, enough said 4. Pulled Pork is moist and flavor is not intense, but the smoke definitely pops. 5. Turkey Breast is moist and has good flavor, but tastes amazing with smoky mountain sauce 6. My wife hates smoke sausage, but the jalapeño cheddar sausage is one of her favorites. 7. Not a fan of the smoked salmon because it was a little dry, but you can take it home and mix it in with cream cheese and smoke spices 8. Almost forgot to mention the ribs, they were delicious, the perfect amount of seasoning and killer smoke makes these a top priority on the menu. We tried every side on the menu, and my favorites were the greens and Mac and cheese. Try the blueberry cobbler if you catch it in season. Hope you enjoy this review and enjoy this place as we did. We will be back with our children when we come back to North Myrtle Beach."
"Absolutely love this place. The pulled chicken sandwich is so amazing. Definitely recommend the mac and cheese and fries also. My husband loves the pulled pork sandwich. Best BBQ in North myrtle beach. Lately it has really not been as good at all. That really is sad. My sandwich today was so dry and disappointing."
"Tried the 2 meat sampler with brisket and pulled pork. We also ordered the baby back ribs. The baby back ribs were a bit salty plain. We settled on the smoky mountain as our sauce. Atmosphere and service were without flaw. Only complaint is we wish we had brought a better sauce from outside."
"Can I give it a 6 out of 5 stars please??!! The decor is wonderfully overwhelming. Just what we needed! We mentioned that this was our first visit (we had heard wonderful things from military family in Jacksonville, NC) and the visit was fantastic. The gal at the register was calm, helpful, kind and every staff member that we encountered were good customer service representatives. The menu was extensive. We got pulled pork sandwiches with sides. I choose the large reusable plastic cup which I can bring back at my next visit and the ice bucket had so many bottled pop (black cherry), and they had Pepsi, lemonade and sweet and unsweet teas. The Mac n cheese was good, the green beans and creamed corn were an A-. I would get them again. There were 6 homemade sauces on the table and be sure to ask for the Alabama White sauce!!!! It was fun to try to dip the meat in the sauces. My sandwich came with cole slaw. I cannot express how helpful the staff was to get us up to speed. We sat down just short of noon. At noon, you stand and sing along with the National Anthem. What a great way to get back to what is important in life! The patches, coins and photos reminded us of all of those who served and their sacrifices. Love Mission BBQ. They brought around the best ever warm apple cobbler. We had plenty of food and took some to go. The smokers were huge, the food and decor were exactly what we wanted and cannot wait to return. The staff made the experience over the top good! Cannot rave enough!"
"We were on vacation here last week and wanted some bbq. The place was very easy to find. The owner was outstanding. Super friendly and answered all my curious questions about the restaurant. He even shared his own person stories of his family and services in the military. The food was delicious as hell. Fall off the bone delicious. All the bbq sauces were good but my favorite was the original. Service was fast and the environment was great. I will definitely visit here again."
