"Employees are great. Very nice, helpful and accommodating. However, the rooms are NOT what is shown in the photos on the Choice Hotels App. Not even close. Very old, smells bad, stained furniture, realllllly bad lighting and our room had a constant water dripping sound coming from the vent. It was explained to us that was normal for a water chill system....um, ok? But it's not good for getting a good nights sleep. This is a $60 a night hotel at best. I feel sorry for the employees because you could tell they know this place is not as advertised and they were very embarrassed at having to apologize and explain everything. Owners should be ashamed of themselves for the false advertising. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Holiday Inn across the highway."
"The worst experience I ever had from a hotel would be from here and that too from Radisson! There is no proper service. They replace the coffee and sugar pouches randomly. No complimentary water is kept. No laundry service, Even hot water was stopped for few days. Few people in the reception don't even care to explain your queries. Worst of all we saw two people fighting each other and disturbing another guest. She believed they were under the influence of substances. The guy seemed kind of suspicious. Where was the security? Is there one?. The hotel is accessible by anyone who wishes to enter. It was raining one day and we saw the roof was leaking. I'm sure in a few more months they will go out of business. I hate to put bad reviews like this. But people should know what they are getting for their money."
"I was quite happy with my 2-night stay here. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The breakfast food was great. No issues with wifi. Lots of parking and located less than a 10 minute drive from the Brentwood train station that goes to downtown NYC. Good mini-fridge in the room, and a microwave in the common space. My thermostat was not working but that issue was resolved when I mentioned it to the front desk. One small issue was there was no shampoo supplied in the room (when I asked the maid she said she also had none at that time). Overall a good place to stay that I would recommend and stay at again."
"Hotel needs renovations, leaking roofs in lobby, smell of mold. The tub had rust, pealing caulking, faucet was loose. We had to go to the front desk to ask for towels, twice even after they made up the room. The TV was terrible and you had to guess what the channels were. The thermostat was set to 90 when we arrived, but the room was probably 70. I tried to adjust the temp, but it was inoperable. There seems to be some homeless housing being provided as they frequently hung out by the back door, smoking cigarettes. The pool was open, but the deck had trash and broken pool equipment scattered. The hot tub was empty and didn't seem to have worked for a while. No I didn't report the problems to the front desk, as my experiences have been that it's useless."
"If you were looking for some thing for a decent price, this would be the hotel for you if you just needed to stop here for the night. This hotel wasn’t the best, but it also wasn’t the worst that I’ve seen. The things I did not like about this hotel, where that none of the doors on the side or in the back were locked at any time of the day or night. The room was modern. It did have a couch and a nice coffee table, but the rooms seemed very humid, which made the sheets feel damp. The door did have a gap underneath it, which is not OK for me because of safety reasons. More upscale hotels have a metal block at the bottom of the door so no one can put anything underneath it. So, that contributed to my anxiety trying to go to sleep. They did have a pretty decent work out center so of the equipment was out of service. The pool area seems to be under construction, due to the whirlpool not working. The carpets in the room are very old and the ones in the hallway are extremely dirty. The outside of the hotel could use some TLC because The awning near registration is damaged. Also, there didn’t seam to be anyone working at the bar.. which is in the front of the hotel for guest to see and a few of ice machines the were out of service."
