"Last night our Pug named Daisy wasn't able to urinate so I called Ark Vet Hospital & Urgent Care because she was there before because of her toenail 3 years ago. We were able to get seen and she was examined right away. From our first interaction with the Vet Tech (curly brownish/red hair and septum piercing. sorry I couldn't remember her name), she was very nice and Daisy enjoyed her company as well. She even treated our girl with extra care. Doctor Alex D came in with a plan to help Daisy. They were able to help us with locating her issue and she was sent home with antibiotics. Doctor Alex and the staff were very surprised with how good of a dog Daisy was. I can say that Ark Vet Hospital & Urgent Care staff on the night of 2/2/2024 gave us exceptional service and care on this stressful night. Daisy is on the right path of getting better and we couldn't be more thankful for Ark Vet Hospital & Urgent Care."

"Courtney and Victoria took great care of Hamilton, our cat that had suffered a mysterious injury that turned out to be a bite to the torso. Our hometown vet missed the diagnosis, but ARK figured it out and he made a full recovery. Great job ARK team!"

"I wish I didn't have to share such sad news on a positive review but unfortunately my Kitty passed away on Dec 15th. The reason for the 5 stars is because Kitty was able to die with dignity, thanks to Dr. Alex and the rest of the staff at Ark Veterinary Hospital. We came to Ark around 10pm after our cat stopped eating and drinking, and was getting subQ fluids daily. There was no stopping the kidney disease though as her kidneys were failing and her body just couldn't handle it anymore. The vet told us that unfortunately there was nothing left that they could do and the only thing left would be to euthanize her. Dr. Alex was very kind to us and explained the whole process from beginning to end. I had never done this before so it was comforting to have her there to help us understand what would happen next. She let us sit with Kitty for a while to decide what we wanted to do, take her home or euthanize her. We got to have a couple hours to say our goodbyes to Kitty. At the end, Dr. Alex shaved a piece of Kitty's fur for us which we are so, so grateful for because it sits on my dresser to this day in the exact bag it came in with her fur placed exactly as it did that day. I don't even want to imagine not having that patch of her fur in the way it was when she was alive so thank you for that. I want you all to know it meant the world to me. It took me a while to write the review because the pain is still raw but I wanted to make sure people knew that this is an emergency vet they can depend on. Had Ark not been opened (as I previously mentioned this was around 10pm) we would have had to drive to Buffalo, Ithaca, or Syracuse or wait until morning for our normal vet to open while Kitty continued to suffer. So thank you to the staff who stepped up and helped out the pet community by staying open later. Lastly, not for one second did I question their work ethics or professionalism. Everything was done out of care for the pet who is a member of the family and for the person who has to grieve for their family when it's all over. Thank you to Dr. Alex and the staff who worked Dec 15th around 10pm (I'm sorry I didn't get everyone's names but I hope they are rewarded in some way)."

"I made my dog an urgent care visit because our vet closed early. He had hurt his leg and was limping. Ark was the only vet able to see him that day. I paid the deposit and by the time we got to the appointment Teddy was just fine! I understood that I would forfeit my deposit as it was explained to me when I made the appointment. With that said, the girl at the front was so kind. Without me even asking, she must have went back and spoke to the doctor. She came out and told me they wouldn’t be charging me and to have teddy rest and ice his leg. If need be make another appointment. Not many, if any place does this kind of business anymore. It was so nice to see that people care and understand that circumstances change. I truly appreciate them even though they didn’t actually treat teddy. I would go back there in a second!! "I brought my senior citizen Stanley, in on a Sunday afternoon (emergency visit ) as he wasn’t eating or drinking for a period of time. They were very kind and thorough with him. Stanley can be a bit sensitive and he was perfectly fine there! His “motor” never stopped running!"
