"Only 1 checkout register open at one of the most popular craft and holiday supply stores around, on an evening in December. I was the 8th person in line when I approached the checkout area. 16 minutes later I've advanced to 4th, with a whole cluster of shoppers lined up behind me. And the only reason I've moved up as far as I have is because 2 shoppers in front of me abandoned their carts and left out of frustration. Seems to me that during a year when almost EVERY business is hurting for revenue, management at this particular store could have done a much better job scheduling for the holidays."
