"I was picked up at the Asheville Airport last week. The driver was on time and very courteous and friendly. I was dropped off at my house after a fairly steep slippery climb. The $35 charge was very reasonable and I definitely will use the transit system again. My only suggestion is that a piece of plywood be placed over the spare tire in the minivan to keep items from getting dirty in the back."
"Must be ready up to an hour before pickup time? I just don’t like that if I need to be at work at 8am they show up at 7:10 when it only takes 10 minutes to get there. If your like me and drag a bit in the morning it’s difficult to be ready an hour before you need to. I know drivers have a lot of pickups in a day but it seems like overkill to me to require one to be ready an hour early. Am I just supposed to stand outside my workplace until it opens? I don’t need to be there 45 min early I need to be there at 8:00 or slightly earlier."
"As an Appalachian Trail hiker taking a couple days off in Franklin, I found MCT bus service to be fabulous. I used the Mountain Gem service several times while I was in town. $1 to go anywhere in town and I never waited for more than 15 minutes. When you're in a town like this and you don't have a car, the ability to get around is priceless, particularly in a town that is spread out like Franklin is. The drivers were friendly and the buses were good enough for me. If you're a hiker looking for a ride, don't hesitate to call these guys."
