"To call this company a joke would be giving it too much credit. They can’t keep any employee for long. Those who work in the office are self-absorbed and too concerned with their lunchtime mani-pedi to worry about driver retention. They change their employee’s pay scale without notice, they continuously fail to turn in payroll in a timely manner which screws their drivers out of their paychecks, they force drivers to pull trailers that should be red tagged, share sensitive information such as their employee’s home address with their insurance salesmen friends without permission, they sell or give away to other industries their employee information, refuse to mail paycheck stubs but send it through other drivers and other companies UNSEALED instead, they promise their drivers raises they never follow through with, and they have no idea how to stick to their word. Integrity is a foreign concept to them. If they keep violating their employees rights like they have been, they’re going to wind up shutting down and with (yet another) lawsuit on their hands."

"I was driving to work and a person driving a Gaines truck (number 275) just decided to merge into my lane with no signal about running me off the road. Good thing I was a better driver than he was or it could have been bad. I guess they hire any idiot who needs a job at this place."

"I was just driving behind one of these trucks on Rt2 between Turners Falls in Greenfield Massachusetts as the driver was unloading trash out of his window onto the highway. It was disgusting. I would never want to use a company that was so disrespectful to the environment. This was on September 8, 2018 at 8:45am."
