"My partner, our 4 year old, and I came in to Ashley this evening looking for a large dining room table and breakfast bar. Our 4 year old is extremely high energy, impulsive, and always super silly. A store full of fluffy comfy furniture looks like a gymnasium to him! A few minutes after we came into the store, Simon greeted us with a kind, engaging, and upbeat attitude and immediately connected with our 4 year old. Simon was patient and informative, but not overbearing or pushy at all. We were given space to look around and talk through our options, but Simon was available when we had questions or needed suggestions. We ended up finding 2 sets we loved, which we purchased. We are happy with the quality, price, and planned delivery date and process. We had a great experience at the Ashley Furniture in Henrietta thanks to Simon!!! "I had the absolute worst experience with Ashley Furnature. I picked up a Dresser that first of all they were supposed to call me when it came in and no one did so after waiting a long time I finally called only to find out that it had been in, and just no one has ever called me. Then, I’ll bring the dresser home and all its surrounding wood and productive, foxing, and open the dresser only to find that the dresser was very sloppily constructed, and the whole bottom shelf at the bottom drawer with the iron is super glued in a very drastic angle and that the side of the dresser was not constructed properly to the back of the dresser on one side as shown in the pictures. I called customer service and they had me send in photos for an exchange and I agree that it was totally a manufacture error, but refused to deliver a new one and pick up the old one and said that since it was initially a pick up order, despite everything, being their fault, I had to reload this heavy dresser a vehicle, which I would have to borrow from someone else, lug it back up half an hour away, and then lug the new one back into my house, or pay $100 to have Ashley do it when they already had a garbage product and never even called me when it came in. They also said I had to keep the current broken one and store it until the new one came in so I have a broken dresser sitting in the middle of my kitchen because I have no way to move it. They refused to waive the fee and had absolutely horrible customer service. I would never ever shop here again, and I am so irritated with an disappointed in my experience."
