Reviews of Wallace Outdoor Power Products
"Bought a new cub cadet zero turn. Great people and great product. Highly recommended"
"These are the most pleasant people to do business with! Everyone was kind, helpful, and did not rush me to make my decision. Everything I was told in the store was right on when the mower was delivered. They have my business!!"
"Just want to say thank you! From the time we dropped off our riding mower, to the update and picking it up, Wallace Outdoor Power Products went above and beyond my expectations! The service both in the front of the store and the shop were professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would use them even if I had to drive three times as far. Again, thank you Wallace Outdoor Power Products!"
"I had my Cub Cadet picked up by this company over a month ago. Knowing it was it rough shape and had been garaged for about three years, I'd told them to come get it, tune it up, and tell me what all would need to be done to get it up and running. They sounded nice on the phone and came and picked it up the same day. After two weeks of no phone calls from the company, both myself and my tenant called to ask about it's status. We were told that there were two spindles that they were working to free up or replace if they couldn't, a lever or two to be greased, and some rat chewed wires that they were in the works of repairing. I knew that it also needed tires, a battery, an oil change, blades and a general tune up, so no biggie. I had anticipated that it would need some work and that it may take a little time. I hadn't complained about the repairs or set any particular cost, but assumed that they'd keep us in the loop as the repairs progressed. We were told then that they were aiming to have it back by the end of that second week. A week later with no phone calls again, we called to check the status again. Same thing as before, they claimed they were working on the wiring and as soon as that was done, they'd test it and have it back to us. In fact, the lady who answered the phone got a little snooty about us "bugging them" and calling to inquire once a week, even though they had yet to pick up the phone one single time to call us and give us any update. After over a month of this, I'd had enough. I was finally told that they had a total....$599.58! Fine, no problem, just get me my mower! Already very skeptical of this company, I asked that I be able to pay via phone by credit card when someone was there to witness the delivery and verify that the repairs were complete. Suddenly, the lady tells me that there are some $380 more in repairs necessary (including the spindles, belts, etc. that three weeks prior we were told had been supposedly worked on and greased or replaced) and that they couldn't guarantee without these additional repairs that it would even last a season. This lady proceeded to get increasingly snotty with me, claiming that I would have been better off just buying a new tractor than fixing mine. Well, that sure is a funny thing to say AFTER you've supposedly done $599.58 in repairs to supposedly get it up and running. Not once before any of these repairs was I told that I'd be better off buying a new one or that it would cost an additional $380 and Lord knows how much longer to have it delivered in functional condition (not that I would have even scoffed at it, if it was necessary)....not once did they call, and obviously hadn't competed the necessary repairs in the over a month and a half that they had it!! After all was said and done, I paid the bill (at 3:58PM - they close at 5:30PM mind you) just to get my tractor back from them and was then told by the lady on the phone that she would let the delivery man know to contact my tenant to set up a time to meet him for delivery. She said they could not deliver without someone being present. As usual with this company, my tenant received no phone call at all and called to ask when the delivery would occur. The same lady as before got snotty and said that she'd told me to tell my tenant. This was a flat out lie, especially as I had no idea when they'd be scheduling their delivery!! My tenant arrived home to discover the zero turn dumped out in the front yard with a note stuck to it. Only one out of three blades would even turn when engaged, as the spindles were still seized, the belts were next to shredded, and it didn't even have a seat on it!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Wallace is a small town with many good folks in it and in small towns, all you have is your reputation. They flat out ruined their reputation, with their manipulation, lies, and poor work. They should be ashamed!!! I will be reporting this to the BBB and Cub Cadet for further review. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!"
"I was so impressed with the commitment to service and finding the right solutions for their customers. Though I have not bought from them yet I met several people that own their products. The customers say they believe it is one of the best mowers and they stand behind the products with quality support. Love local owned and operated businesses like this and recommend checking them out."
