"For all the years I’ve been dreading this procedure, it really wasn’t as bad as I anticipated. All the stress and anxiety was all for nothing. They called me back with my prepping questions and the nurse was very sweet which eased some anxiety. The day of, the nurses and staff were very sweet and answered any questions. Dr. Yogi was very professional. I will definitely go again when I’m due without the fear and anxiety."
"After being a good patient for around 9 years, I had an appointment scheduled I waited months for (as usual.) The night before I was fine, then the morning of my appointment I very suddenly came down with food poisoning and so did my two toddlers. My husband had to call in work to tend us all. Sick as I was, I still brought my phone in my bathroom on speaker and waited for them to open, I waited through their cancellation prompts till you leave a message. I left a message in graphic detail explaining why I couldn't make it to my appointment shortly. I was shocked when I felt better and went to reschedule and found I was blocked from doing so on the patient portal, as this doctor approved a $75.00 late cancellation fee right before Christmas. I called to question it, I explained I never no called/no showed in all my time with them, never complained waiting for months to a half year for appointments, waiting hours on hold, etc. but I was very sick and sometimes unfortunate things occur and I believed some compassion was in order. The girl said so many people don't show for appointments, she said most of the people are those that have no private medical insurance "and you can't charge them, etc. She told me to write management a letter of appeal, she said she's heard of charges being waived when things come up that can't be helped. I told her I could send a letter that both my kids were sick from school for same reason and documentation that my husband called in work? I used time I didn't have to do so, as I still needed GI medical care and I was being denied care until the bill was paid. Management answered my appeal and said they could not reverse the charge, they offered no reasons or explanations, just one line. So I really wasted my time. They took their time cashing my check and posting it to my account as well, by the time they did, I had to wait even longer to make and get an appointment for my care. I used to work in an office. We also had policies posted for various fees-this was meant as a deterrent, and used for a client that habitually didn't make their appointments, etc. we would use it if we had to, but you have to look at the patient as an individual and not treat them as a number. I was a good patient all those years, my insurance has paid them plenty, I used to sing their praises. However, I didn't like being treated like a number, things come up-people get sick, people get covid, people get into car accidents, get stuck in snow, don't want to drive out in a snow storm, etc. I guess they would of rather me go there sick. Even the staff members I spoke to seemed surprised with what happened with me, saying they need to really work on their fee policy to make it fair and consistent. It wasn't my money (that they must of really needed that badly) it was the principle, that was such a horrible day for me and that was the straw. Since I require on going GI care, and they are conveniently located with a GI monopoly in the area, I will continue to go their as I have a near decades history there and have had many great experiences with many staff members, so I won't treat this doctor and the management like they did me and block my care, but I will be seeing another doctor. Just be aware even if you're deathly sick you better limp on in or risk a big fee."
"I had an outstanding experience in January at this center on Elaine Drive. The staff was friendly and kind and Dr Yogi was kind and witty. It was my first time at this location but my second procedure with Dr Yogi. The staff were efficient and I will definitely return as needed."

My primary didn't understand why I was seeing him and asked if I made a follow up with Yogesh. I told him Yogesh didn't want to see me. Go somewhere else for your issues! I am"
"I'd give zero if I could. Treated me like a child instead of like an adult with anxiety. Had no cares about my anxiety or worries. Made me feel uncomfortable. Explained test results while I was still under and refused to explain when I was fully awake. Refused an appointment to discuss diagnosis and questions. Extremely rude and short on the phone. Go somewhere else and be CARED for. Good luck."
