"My experience with Dr. Gopalakrishan was as good as it could be when the fact is that I will have to take new medication with potential for unpleasant side effects. The doctor took his time to explain the situation, and what the new drugs are supposed to do. He gave me all the time I needed to ask questions, which he answered honestly, but encouragingly. Then the pharmacist explained more to me about the drugs. He too gave me time to ask questions and answered them. It was as good a medical experience can be at this point. Dr. G. and Daniel, the pharmacist did very well. Clark Zlotchew."

"Usually have positive experience at Roswell Park and today was no exception as we always have questions about my health care and what to expect going forward. My visit experience involved question/answer session with Christina Lyman, NP where she addressed our questions. But I find it a little discomforting that she enters a time of 45 minutes in my record as the time spent with me when in fact we sat in an exam room for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to come in. Then approx. 15 minute session with us. I know providers have to spend time reviewing charts and lab results, etc. but this total time is entered as 'time spent with patient'. Secondly, we did not even see Dr. Gopalakrishnan today. Nurse Lyman said she was going to ask him a question and left the room during our session but we did not ever see him. So, this survey request of our meeting with the Dr. is quite misleading as is the note for 45 minutes spent with patient."
