"I originally found this store in Wilmington, NC, so I was excited to see a location in Raleigh. I went looking for a piece of furniture, specifically, a dining room table. I was approached by someone who said she was an interior designer and had several ways to source what we were looking for. She spent several minutes, took down specific information, and said she would reach out the next day or so. Fast forward a month, and still no email, text, or phone call. Very, very disappointing. But that's okay . . . we ended up finding a wonderful designer at Ethan Allen, who helped us custom order a table, which should be here at Thanksgiving. Not sure I'll ever go back to the store in Raleigh."
"Always helpful, always feel like my business matters to them. Top quality items."
"I found the perfect house warming gift with the support of the staff. Very professional and friendly!"
"We walked in to look at furnishings for a new house. Neither employee spoke to us, even when we were right beside the desk. Saw 2 glider chairs we liked but as no one chose to speak, we will shop elsewhere. Fyi- don't let appearances fool you Nest employees!"
"The store had beautiful items, however the staff felt snooty. When I spoke to one worker about buying a, I’m assuming was a $300+, lamp she wouldn’t tell me the maker/designer. Imagine spending that much money on a pair of shoes or a couch or anything and not knowing the brand/designer/maker. I was floored. The lady working said, “it’s store policy not to share the designer. You DO understand, don’t you”. I just agreed for the sake of being polite, lol because I most certainly don’t understand that policy. The woman told me she’d email me some other options (still waiting on that email btw). She cut me off when I described my design style, and was completely dismissive towards the end. I bought a beautiful lamp online, but would have LOVED to bought locally. Highly recommend you review customer service tips with your staff. It’s sad they might be making people feel uncomfortable or turn away business with the online shopping age we live in now."
