"Not So Sorry... But PLEASE Do yourself a BIG Favor and Stay Away From This Practice !! This woman is one the most Unprofessional And Uncaring human beings I have EVER encountered !.. She has the Gaul to eat in front of you like a PIG , on top of that the thing has the nerve to wear flip flops (Very Unprofessional) with the most HIDEOUS Looking feet on a woman i have EVER Seen in my entire life.. BARF! She falls asleep during sessions on top of it all. She lets her obese daughter constantly cancel appointments upon her personal whim .. than she is very late when appointments are on . Needless to say I wound up Traumatized after the whole ordeal... Save your time and your money and let your fingers do the walking... This woman should be Stripped of her licence FOREVER in my HONEST opinion and is an eye sore to the community for sure ! ..."
"My daughter went to Potenza two times. The first appointment seemed fine, second appointment we were told she’d be contacting us and putting some things in place. That was in September; I have called the Amsterdam office now numerous times since then and have never been contacted back. Continuously told a callback for us has been marked as urgent and then told the doctor hadn’t even bothered to read the note/request for callback. Mind you we waited 5 months to even get an appointment to begin with! Definitely looking for a new therapist to attend, would not recommend she can’t be bothered."
"I have read the reviews. I agree she is hard to reach. Her mind is often driving 100 miles a minute while you are discussing things with her. That said she is the best at what she does which leads to large workloads, difficulty reaching her, and sometimes a lapse in appointment schedules. Go into this realizing she's the very best. If something comes up, it came up, and Dr. Potenza will get back with you. I couldn't recommend her highly enough. This is after several missed appointments and gaps in being able to see her."
"Dr P has worked with my daughter who is autistic for many years and she is doing well. Since my husband’s passing, she recommended sessions for my daughter and I together. When my daughter refused, she sees us each separately and works on strategies that have allowed my daughter and I to continue living in the same house with some separation and has helped me tremendously during my own pain and Disabling condition, as well as my bereavement. I find her informal setting puts me at ease."
"Would not recommend this practice at all. Dr. Potenza was 20+ mins late for my first two telehealth appointments and she didn't even bother showing up to my 3rd scheduled appointment. During the last 15 mins of my 2nd telehealth appointment, I could hear her packing up to leave. Then she proceeded to drive home, WITH THE RADIO ON, WHILE I WAS TALKING. After the first appointment, Dr. Potenza said she would email me reading material about some of the things I was struggling with. Its been a month- 3 phone calls/voicemails into the office, 2 emails, 2 appointments, and 1 text later and I still have not received anything. Extremely disorganized office. She's nice, but her and her staff are clearly unprofessional. Don't waste your time or money."
