"A good experience overall. It was quiet and peaceful not too busy. The only complaint was that the trail was blocked off twice at different points."

"The place is really good if your looking for a hike. Some of the trails were really cool but then there were parts you really couldn’t get thru . I will definitely make a return regardless."

"Tons of wildlife can be spotted here! I saw Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Hummingbirds, Sea Gulls, Cardinals, Robins, Ducks and then there’s Geese haha. A short trail that is looped in the lower part of the preserve near the museum. You can park your car at the museum and take the trail that starts behind the museum! This preserve features a small pond that shore birds visit. A nice bench for you to perch along with the many other species of birds in the preserve. I hope you enjoy your time here like I did. "A hidden gem on long islands south side. Nice trails, quiet, birds, not crowded. To do the whole hike will take about 2 hrs and you do have to cross 2 streets."
