"I was looking for an engagement ring for my fiance and I went to many of the more commercial chain jewelry stores like Zales and Jared to name a few. Since my fiance would be wearing this ring for the rest of her life I wanted to be sure she was happy with it so I took her along and she showed me several styles she liked. We found several rings my fiance liked but all were just not exactly what she had envisioned so we kept looking. We then went to see Douglas Harris and we were both immediately impressed with his level of knowledge and he seemed go know exactly what my fiance was looking for. At that point I was on my own as my fiance still wanted to be surprised with the final selection. Doug was amazing in his vision of what the final product would look like. He made some sketches and we worked with them until it was what I felt my fiance would love. Then he ordered 5 diamonds for me to look at as the central stone. No other jewelry store even suggested that. So when the stones came in we both looked at them and selected that perfect diamond as the center piece for the ring. Wow. Doug called me when the ring was finished and to say it exceeded my expectations does not even come close to my level of satisfaction. But the real test was what would my fiance think of the ring. When she saw it she was truly blown away and I am not sure her feet have hit the ground yet in her complete satisfaction with her new ring. Of course all her girl friends wanted to see the ring and to a person they to have been blown away with its magnificent beauty. So we took a beautiful ring to start with and customized it to ring that is in a class all of its own in regard to style and beauty.
