"A space that has become 10% wonderful and used by families with their children and 90% an after-dark loitering ground for teenagers and up. I cannot speak as to whether RXR is in charge of its oversight or not, but the grounds would honestly have made for a fantastic outdoor performing arts pavilion (a promise made but not kept) or a community garden, or even more plain grass turf. Either the way it is administered needs to change or its usage does. As it stands, it was poorly thought out and it shows. This is Glen Cove: the 37th best place to live in the entire United States! We can do better! We have the best residents, the best elected officials, and a rich history dating back over a century. Let's create something special at this most important and desirable of geographic locations!"

"BEWARE DANGEROUS!!!! We spent the night in the ER, son received 4 stitches. Unsafe metal playground that is slippery with no protection. He took a single step on the landing and he slipped and fell face first onto the other metal landing"

"I agree with many of the previous reviews, pretty much everything was metal but luckily I didn’t go on a hot day. There were baby swings which is always a plus for my infant daughter but nothing else really. This playground has an amazing view and location but it leaves much to be desired."

"The location of this playground is great! BUT there is no reason why this should be a metal playground, especially where there is absolutely no sun cover. Another downfall is that I have found beer cans on the wooden benches right across the path from the playground one morning."

"This play ground has tremendous potential, it’s in a beautiful location and very clean but the only issue is their is absolutely no shade. All of the features are metallic which makes them very hot so it’s hard for kids to actually enjoy it. I think from now on I’ll go on a day that’s not so hot or in the evening."
