"We've been coming to this park now for a few months and so far have good things to say. The park is very large and there's a covered area for owners to sit in some shade. The dog owners we've met have been very cool and the dogs are, for the most part, friendly and healthy. There's fresh water available during the warmer months."
"Visiting the area, wanted to let the pupper run... This seems like a nice dog park. It is a MEMBER ONLY dog run, so we didn't get to go inside. But we walked abound the surrounding grassy areas and played fetch. They seem to be adding/remolding some tennis/basketball courts. I liked how there was a trash can available to be able to clean up after my dog. There was a very beautiful path in the back of the park leading up to a railroad. Theres some baseball/kickball fields and a small playground and swing set as well. So all and all we enjoyed visiting even though we didn't get to run around the dog run."
"I went there to kayak. Launch area really muddy. Would be nice if they could build a little dock to make it easier getting in & out of kayak. Creek was beautiful & water level was high. We went about a mile upstream until we hit a downed tree that we couldn't maneuver around. So peaceful. Need to paddle it in the Spring when water levels are high as it does get shallow in spots. Really enjoyed."
"I’ve only been to this dog park a handful of times so far since I’ve gotten the permit for it, and I love it! There’s never many dogs there whenever I go, which sometimes is nice but other times is boring for my little guy. The only reason for 4 stars is because you have to pay an annual fee to use this dog park, which is fine, however there’s nothing there. Only a couple benches, no tunnels or obstacles for the dogs to jump or play on, no trees - it just seems that since you are paying to use it, there should be more amenities for the pups. Someone I met there told me they have water fountains that shoot water out of the ground for during the summer so the dogs can run through it, but the park didn’t even turn them on last year. Overall, a very clean dog park and my dog has fun there!"
"Loved the space of this dog park! Large, clean, great space for dogs! I only gave 4 stars though because it was a town's member-only park. I was visiting a friend from out of town we needed a space for my dog to have a break but all gates were locked if you don't have key fab access. Thankfully there were two very kind members that said I could enter with them. My dog and I didn't stay very long but we were thankful for the hospitality of this community and space for a little doggie fun and relief. Would love for the town to consider making this public."
