"Have been there twice today (Friday) and door is locked. Went at 9:45 am and noon. Lights are on. OPEN sign is lit. But no one is there. Phone number online is invalid."

"Caution: under new owner.The most hateful person you will ever meet, and does not know anything about shoes or leather. I called on Wednesday august 3 and asked how long to stretch boots. He said 2 days. I dropped off my brand new Harley Davidson boots to him. Picked them up Saturday paid him $10, brought them home. The top was all wrinkled and bent like they were old. The right boot isn't stretched at all and the left one is lop sided,one side the same other side seems stretched just enough to make it look crazy. I called him. He immediately got an attitude when I told him it was messed up.he hung up no resolution met,the man was hateful and rude. There's a shoe shop in Seneca. I will drive the extra 30 miles to never have to deal with this person or place again. He destroyed my boots. $175 out the window. Not worth suing him over but still money out of pocket that could have went to better a reputable place that actually knows how to work on shoes and leather."

"Dropped off a pair of running shoes brand new that had the pull tab on the heel rip off. The new owner (not the previous older gentleman) but a new gentleman took a look at it and said I'll have them ready by Tuesday. That was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. So the week after Thanksgiving I saw a sign in the window that said "closed until November 30th" and I thought oh it's holiday week I understand it's a one man show. This week I went on Tuesday which was November 30th. And not only were they not ready he couldn't even recall what shoes was I was talking about nor who I was even though we had about a 10 minute conversation 2 weeks prior. He had stated he had some personal issues and I understand that life happens I get it but I asked for my shoes back and he said "no I'll have them done tomorrow I'll call you." I'll let you take a guess if he called or not. So now I'm on to either week four or five and I'm lost and someone else mentioned in another review that he takes on too much he needs to catch up on what he has and that's the absolute truth you can't even see behind a wooden shelf right behind him God knows what kind of mess is behind there. He said the previous owner (an older gentleman who was amazing) left the business about 3 to 4 months ago so if it's been a little while it's not the same place unfortunately. Will update when I eventually get the shoes back either fixed or not! I hate having to leave a bad review I just am trying to have others avoid the same lousy experience. (Also he does not answer the phone and you can't leave a voicemail when I was there in person dropping my shoes off the phone was ringing the entire time so I was thinking oh my gosh that was me the day before!)"
