"Despite having already left a review, I've seen many dissatisfied because of Dr. Zysman. Yes, he is very unprofessional and seems more interested in talking about himself, rather than listen to new patients. He's a horrible egotistal man only interested in the sound of his own voice. However, you only have to deal with him the first couple days, and then you don't have to deal with him anymore. The rest of the staff are wonderful. The receptionist, Lee, is super nice and down to earth, and very personable and helpful, if you're not an ***hole, whining about this or that and going out of your way to give her a hard time. She has never once been nasty or negative to me, and has gone above and beyond to make sure everything was done that I needed. Dr. Neuman is the nicest most caring physician you could ever meet. It saddened me when I had to move out of state and wish I could've brought EARS here with me. A lot of places run a treatment center like a DMV and it's horrible. Don't judge the practice on Zysman. He's only briefly involved in the very beginning because he feels he has to be involved in some way, but the practice could run great without him, and it does after you don't have to see him anymore. I only had to see him the first 2-3 days and then I didn't have to deal with him thereafter. I was a patient there for 3.5 years before leaving the state. It really is a fantastic place, IF you follow the program and are serious about getting sober."
"Literally the most disrespectful doctor i’ve seen. He dodged the question about being able to diagnose and prescribe medication even though my insurance provider referred me to him for those reasons. He would always call me 30 minutes to an hour late and does not care about you. He will talk over you and will eat his lunch in the middle of your session and talk with his mouth full. Please save your time and energy because this man is not worth it. He is also classist and sexist and has terrible morals/values. If I could put 0 stars I would"
"I have never been to such a distressful place of mental health before. The secretary is extremely rude and told me over the phone to “go get mental help because you really need it” (like why do u think I’m calling ma’am?) it was honestly so uncalled for if I was in a different situation and a stranger told me that it would send me over the edge. So, I went over to the office to voice my concerns for other patients and the doctor told me I’m not a patient with an appointment and to please leave. I left the doctors office sobbing, when all I wanted to do was let them know that they have a secretary who should not be in the mental health field. Obviously the first person who saw me was her, so she ran into the back and got her story straight and made me seem like a basket case. Don’t go here if you want real help. They just want money"
"My fiance had an appointment with dr. simon zysman. We were told by the front desk staff that he was a psychiatrist (someone who can prescribe medication). We found out at the end of the visit that he is in fact a psychologist and cannot prescribe. I went in with my fiance. We immediatly noticed dr. Zysmans uncaring and judgemental attitude towards us. He proceeded to insult my fiances intelligence. The rest of the visit he proceeded to insult everything my fiance said. He was absolutely horrible. Please if you care about yourself or a loved one that needs help DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!"
"This place should not be in business. My daughter is struggling with depression, and went here to talk to someone. Personally, I called first and was treated very rudely while making the appointment. They lack commpassion.I should have moved on to a different doctor after my initial call. My daughter went to her appointment only to be called a "little B_ _ TCH" by the lady at the front desk. Trisha (red headed woman) because she was rude, and my daughter asked her to not speak to her so rudely. Being called names is NEVER acceptable especially when reaching out for help! My daughter saw Isabel Tolentino-Marasol and when my daughter informed her what happened she stood up for her employee and told her ( my daughter) that she was Bi-polar, and tried to give her medication for bi polar disorder."
